Why are circuit boards (PCBs) mostly green?

With so many answers, there is no one reliable. This issue has been raised for several years, such a big industry, did not understand,

 so terrible! Since the solder resist applied above is green, why is the solder resist green? Why do you want to mix it with green dye? 

Green stains are easier to meet at a low cost, controlling UV light absorption during exposure, and the maximum color difference between 

copper pads and leads. Light absorption directly affects the minimum resolution and graphic profile steepness. Chromatic aberration 

affects defect detection, whether artificial or AOI. In the early stage of technology development, light absorption is the most important

 technical factor, but as technology advances, the ability of photoinitiators becomes stronger and stronger, and there is no need to pay 

special attention to the effects of the color of dyes, but cost advantages and habits have already formed. So use green. In fact, it is not difficult, 

to understand the principle of UV exposure can understand. Sadly, there are not so many answers to this practice. What does it mean? Domestic

 engineers do not have a scientific spirit, do not explore the scientific principles behind the problems, and do not use scientific principles to

 guide practical work, which is very bad.
