An SMT X-ray inspection machine is an advanced, non-destructive testing system specially designed for the production and quality control of surface mount technology. It makes use of high-resolution X-ray imaging for inspecting electronic component and PCB internal structure, enabling operators to detect latent defects that are not visible to the naked human eye.
Therefore, with this system, it will be able to produce detailed X-ray images that accurately pinpoint soldering defects, which include voids, bridges, open circuits, insufficient solder, and misaligned BGAs or QFNs.
