SMD Rework Station Heating Element
Automatic hot air infrared SMD Rework Station Heating Element. For repairing, reballing, removal and replacement of BGA, SMT,LED IC chips.
Description
An automatic SMD rework station heating element is a component of a tool used to repair or replace surface mount components on a printed circuit board. The heating element is designed to generate and regulate the heat needed to reflow the solder and remove or install the component. The automatic feature allows the sta-tion to control the temperature and duration of the heating element for precise and efficient rework.

Common Circuit Physical Quantities for SMD Rework Station Heating Element
The function of the circuit is to convert electrical energy into other forms of energy. Therefore, certain physical quantities are used to indicate the state of the circuit and the correlation of energy conversion among its various parts.
(1) Current for SMD Rework Station Heating Element
Current has two meanings in practical terms. First, it represents a physical phenomenon, specifically the regular motion of charge that forms a current. Second, the magnitude of the current is expressed as current intensity, which is the amount of charge passing through the cross-sectional area of the conductor per unit time, measured in amperes (A). Current intensity is often simply referred to as current, thus giving it a dual representation.
The true direction and positive direction of the current are two distinct concepts that should not be confused. It is customary to use the direction of positive charge motion as the direction of the current. This is the actual direction of the current, an objective fact that cannot be arbitrarily chosen. In a simple circuit, the actual direction of the current can be easily determined by the power supply's polarity.
However, in a complex DC circuit, determining the true direction of the current is more challenging. In an AC circuit, both the magnitude and direction of the current vary with time. To analyze and calculate the circuit, the concept of a current reference direction is introduced, also known as the assumed positive direction.
The positive direction is defined as one of the two possible real directions of current, which is arbitrarily selected as the reference direction. When the actual current direction aligns with the assumed positive direction, the current is considered positive; when it is opposite, the current is negative.
From another perspective, different representations may arise for the same circuit, depending on the chosen positive direction. It is crucial to note that once the positive direction of the current is established, it must be consistently used throughout the analysis and calculation process without change.
(2) Voltage and Potential for SMD Rework Station Heating Element
From a numerical standpoint, the voltage between two points A and B is defined as the work done by the electric field to move a unit positive charge from point A to point B. The potential at a point in the electric field is the work done to move a unit positive charge to a reference point. Comparing voltage and potential, it is clear that the potential at a specific point in the electric field is the voltage between that point and the reference point, making potential a special form of voltage. The choice of reference point is critical, as different reference points can yield different potential values at the same location in the circuit.
In principle, the reference point can be arbitrarily chosen. In electrical engineering, the grounding point in the circuit is typically used as the reference point, while in electronic circuits, the casing often serves this purpose.
In practical applications, knowing the voltage between two points is often insufficient; it is also necessary to identify which point has a higher potential and which has a lower potential. For example, in a semiconductor diode, the anode potential is higher than the cathode potential. For a DC motor, the potential across the windings varies, which can affect the direction of rotation. Due to practical requirements, it is essential to introduce the concept of voltage polarity, which pertains to the direction in the SMD Rework Station Heating Element.
